Day and Multi-day Pass
- How far in advance do I need to make my online purchases for Ordino Arcalís?The pass prices are dynamic and vary according to demand and how far in advance you purchase them. If you know the dates of your visit, we recommend booking your passes in advance make sure you get the best price.
- Are half-day passes available?
The resort does not offer this type of ski pass.
- Where can I collect the passes and services I’ve purchased?You can get them by presenting your voucher at any of our ticket offices in the resort, or at the express ticket machines located at Illa Carlemany, Hortell and Planell.
- Is there a special pass for beginners?
Yes, the Beginner’s Pass is sold at our ticket offices or via our website. This pass allows you to use platter lifts 4 and 5, Els Marrecs and Els Vailets
- Can I access the slopes if I don't ski?
Yes, there is a Pedestrian Pass that includes a return trip on the Tristaina cable car, returning within the same day. This will allow you to visit our restaurants and take part in some of the adventure activities, or simply enjoy the views.
- I’ve lost my ski pass, can I request a duplicate?
Grandvalira Resorts does not issue duplicate ski passes, but you can buy a loss insurance at the resort’s ticket offices that allows you to obtain a free duplicate of your pass in case of loss. The cost is 1,7€ per day/person.
If you purchase the accident insurance on the slopes, it already includes loss coverage. - At what age do children require a pass?A pass must be purchased for all children born in 2018 or earlier (regardless of the day or month).
- My child is young enough to qualify for a free pass. Do they need a pass to access the slopes?Although the pass is free, the child must have it in order to be able to access the slopes. Free passes can only be acquired at the ticket offices, as you will be required to show proof of your child’s age.
Ski Insurance
- What should I do if I have an accident on the slopes?If you have an accident, you must go to the resort’s medical centre and present your insured pass. If you need further assistance, call the following number to request authorisation: +(376) 88 16 46. Please note: reimbursement will not be provided for services that are not authorised by the insurer.
- Why is it important to take out ski insurance?Like any other activity, skiing and snowboarding always entail a certain amount of risk, and this risk should not be ignored. That is why it is important to take out ski insurance.
- Does the pass price include insurance covering accidents on the slopes?No, but ski insurance can be taken out via our website when you purchase the pass. It can also be taken out at the ticket offices. It is important to bear in mind that once a pass has been used, insurance can no longer be added to it.
Adventure activities
- Can I organise my own snowshoeing excursion?
To access the marked routes within the area encompassing the ski resorts, you must have a mountain pass. For more information, please click on the following link.
- Where is the activity centre located?It is located at the foot of La Coma, so you travel down on the Tristaina cable car to the right.
- Do I need a pass for the adventure activities?Yes, you need to have a pass because the activity centre is not at the foot of the slopes; it is accessed via the Tristaina cable car. If you purchase one of our activity packages, the pass is included.
- What other activities can I do, apart from skiing and snowboarding?
The resort offers the classic activities of snowmobiling and snowshoeing to enable you to travel around the ski area. For more information and bookings, please visit the experiences section.
- Can I bring my dog on my snowshoeing excursion or ski mountaineering ?In accordance with the law concerning mountain resorts, access to the mountain circuits and the slopes with dogs and pets is prohibited.
- Do the adventure activities include insurance?No, the price of the activities does not include insurance. However, you can take out insurance during the purchase process, or at our activity centres. This insurance only covers the activities that take place within the ski area.

- Where can I see the available times for my activity?
You can select your chosen time for the activity during the step prior to completing the booking.
- At what age can I drive a snowmobile?You must be at least 18, although you do not need a driving licence. There are no age limits for passengers.
