Freeride World Tour Andorra 2023: When does the Freeride World Tour come to Ordino Arcalís?
Since 2015, Ordino Arcalís has hosted one of the Freeride World Tour best runs, with this ski resort establishing itself as one of the most impressive on the circuit. The 2023 Freeride World Tour Andorra event will take place between Saturday February 4th 2023 and Thursday February 9th 2023. This six-day span is selected so that organisers have enough margin in the event of difficult weather conditions.
Following on from the events in Canada and Spain, the Andorra Freeride World Tour stop will be the third of the 2023 season and presents a final chance for the riders to collect points before a cut takes place. This year, in 2023, a total of 44 riders will compete in the Freeride World Tour in the men’s and women’s ski and snowboard categories.
Freeride Junior Tour 2023: Will there be an Andorra event?
As part of the Andorra Freeride World Tour event, there will also be some Freeride World Tour Junior events on Saturday February 4th 2023 and Sunday February 5th 2023. With the U-14, U-16 and U-18 categories, some of the best young riders in the world have the chance to show what they can do.
Not only will they be competing against their peers at this famous Andorra ski resort of Ordino Arcalís, but they’ll also have the chance to train with some of the best professionals in the sport.
Freeride World Tour Andorra 2023: What are the best runs in Ordino Arcalís?
The Andorra Freeride World Tour event at Ordino Arcalís has become a permanent fixture on the FWT’s calendar, and for good reason. The fact that this Andorran resort can guarantee snow at this time of year and the fact that there are many options for routes means that the organisers are always happy with the conditions at this Pyrenean stop.
You can take a look at all the Ordino Arcalís ski and snowboard slopes, keeping in mind that this ski resort has at least six Freeride World Tour-worthy slopes available. Last year, they decided to hold it on the slopes of Pic de les Planes.
