Why is a pass required for mountain skiing and snowshoeing?
This pass was born out of a need to regulate this discipline, as a result of the large influx of mountain skiers and snowshoers within the resorts’ skiable areas. In addition, it satisfies the new rules from the Government of Andorra, with a Regulation governing the requirements for practicing winter sports other than alpine skiing and cross-country skiing at ski resorts (BOPA number 141 from 02/12/2020).
The Mountain Pass is valid for all the resorts within the country: Ordino Arcalís, Pal Arinsal, Grandvalira and also Naturland. The Mountain Pass is only required for mountain skiing and snowshoeing within the skiable areas of the ski resorts.
